Terms of Use

Last updated: October 19, 2026 · Versión en español

By downloading or using Calma ("the app"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of the service

Calma is a tool for mindful breathing, sensory grounding, and support during moments of anxiety. Calma is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition. It is a wellness complement, not a substitute for professional care.

2. Important safety notice

If you feel you are in danger, might hurt yourself, or are experiencing a mental health crisis, seek professional help immediately: call your country's emergency services or a crisis support line. The app's emergency button dials the number for your App Store account country (for example, 911 in Mexico, the United States, and Canada; 123 in Colombia; 131 in Chile; 106 in Peru; 192 in Brazil); if you are in another country, check the local number. Do not rely solely on this app in an emergency.

3. Calma Pro (subscriptions)

Calma offers additional features ("Calma Pro") through a monthly or yearly subscription, processed through your Apple Account:

In addition to these terms, Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Calma for personal and lawful purposes. Reverse engineering, distributing, or modifying the app beyond what Apple's App Store policies allow is not permitted.

5. Intellectual property

Calma's design, content, brand, and code belong to its developer. This license only grants you the right to use the app for personal use, not to exploit it commercially.

6. Limitation of liability

Calma is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, including decisions made based on its content.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, without prejudice to the rights your local law grants you as a consumer.

9. Developer and contact

Calma is developed by Omar Mascorro Godinez (independent developer, Mexico). Questions about these terms: calma.app.soporte@gmail.com.
